Get Rid of That Frown!
Get Rid of That Frown!
In my school, people are very shallow,
Their brutal and cruel words pierce through you like an arrow.
He has crooked teeth, she’s too tall,
All of their insensitive comments make me feel so small.
Remember that “people throw rocks at things that shine,”
I have to remember that they’re just jealous of what’s mine.
No one deserves to feel hurt and worthless,
These peoples’ actions are merciless.
Some say, “don’t ever let them bring you down,”
But it’s not as easy as it sounds.
Don’t worry so much about fitting in,
Just be comfortable in your own beautiful skin.
Your flaws are what make you perfect,
And you should always be treated with respect.
Open your eyes,
What I’m saying is surely not a surprise.
They don’t always think before they speak,
But stay strong; they’re the ones that are weak.
So, pick yourself up if you ever fell down,
And get rid of that frown!
