To get there Rising each day the sun gleams bright Following the path to a better night Hunger aches me daily As I struggle to achieve Lifes bitter woes pull me Holding on to my beliefs Small steps into the dark I look each way I find nothing in site Waking and walking each day I cannot let it slip me by Lifes dreams I see you Hunger leave my side This I can do too Everything is in my hands All in my site Alone but able to create That path that will make it right To get there from here Is continually hard From there to here I will arrive in good cheer
