Getaway

Where do you go to get away? I never asked myself That question before, Where exactly do I go? Maybe you can guess where I am: I’m Flying. Yet, my feet are on the ground. Wind. A warm wind; Although not literally warm, It’s actually cold. It’s warm, In my heart. Free mind I’m alone. There’s no one to bug me, Yet there are people all around me. I’m full of power Yet it’s a peaceful power The kind of power that is... Calming. I am strong. Strong feelings, Strong friendship, Strong rhythm, Strong energy. That doesn’t make sense to anyone But me & maybe my true friends. Have you ever been Flying, Warm, Free, Powerful, And Strong; All at the same time before? To me... This is skiing. Skiing is My love My soul mate My best friend My inner soul My... Getaway.
