Getting Better?

We were built on equality and justice, But that’s not what we had. Our hypocrisy is like a giant cyst. Would our founding fathers be glad? Susan B. Anthony and others alike Built onto our laws to right some wrongs. Many reformists turned to strikes. Many singers protested with songs. Our nation still protests. We still try to fix our mistakes, Gays, women, and blacks try their best; They try to fix their hurts and aches. Are we now alright? Is our giant cyst gone? Is our future nice and bright? What conclusion have you drawn?
