Getting Better

What can I not live without?

I'll tell you,

I need to feel.

Feel anything really,

Joy, anger, love, sad--

Pain.

I succumb to the numbing

beauty of no emotion.

But where does that get me?

Cold, unalive, ghost-like.

I am getting better though.

I've started truly laughing again,

and dancing.

It feels so good.

However, the hole you left

remains raw. Why?

Why did you leave?

Please come back to me--

I need you.

P.S. Please bring my life

back with you.

R.I.P. Brother, I love you forever and miss you always.
