Getting by

all my life, I’ve met a lot of people, People have come, They’re gone the next day, Different dreams, Different passions, But that’s the thing about them, Is that like me and you, They’re just wanting to get by, Going through another day, Just trying to ease the pressure, But me… “Nah”…, I WANNA do more than get by, I want more than the easy credit, I WANNA take accountability, And if that’s just gonna make life harder, Then so be it, Because easy credit, Might as well be no credit, But a petty win and leaves a bitter taste. -Kitsuko Dragonstar
