Getting Older

Skin folding in, You try to fold away like laundry Hiding away the wrinkles and stains. Everything hangs lower Your bouncy baby buoyancy wanes to loose clothes and sagging skin But eventually you don't fight the tide You let your clothes drag you all the way down You sit at the bottom of the ocean Enjoy the current of the sea You breathe in salt water And remember the sun

I can't imagine a world where I get better, I really want to see it When you secretly replace your personality with a mental illness🥴😶😔🤚🤦‍♀️
