Getting Paid for Having Fun

My dream job isn't a job at all

Well, at least for me it's not

I mean, your dream job shouldn't feel like a job

If it's really your dream job, you'd be having a ball

I'd be singing on stage

Rocking out with my guitar

Touring the world

Breaking out of my cage

Or maybe on Broadway

Dancing and acting

Singing my heart out

In each and every way

Somewhere in music

Is where my life should be

Because I have the skill

And I know how to use it

I just need the chance

To finally be out there

To live my dreams

And do my happy dance

To sing my songs

Or perform musicals

That's where reality and my dreams

Would get along
