Getting Through

We all fall down

Eventually everyone hits the ground

It may hurt for a while

But you got to get up and smile

Hold your head high

Let all of the bad slip bye

You are worth more to me

I just wish somehow you could see

I know you've been hurt before

You need to find the open door

Walk with me and tell me

Please let me in and let me see

I know you've been though a lot

Worried about how the future will be

Just relax and find your comfort spot

We will just wait and see

I will be here for you

I'm not going to leave

Because your happiness is true

And in me you can believe.

My name is Emily. I have always loved to write. A lot of my poems are dark due to the fact I have been suffering from depression since I was 15. I hope you like what you read on here. Feel free to comment and give me your input on my writing.
