Getting Unstuck

Let one guy left with a fond memory of her raise their hand

It's unlikely to be her bae

Took her so long to realize the damage she's done

Spreading how she felt to everyone

All who reminded her of potentials for pain

She ran away from situations of confrontation

Assumed that they could never be fixed

She'd rather keep her feelings inside,

hand guys the consequences

In every instance she's the same

Now she sees herself for who she is

Wondering why she and her love never got together

He said he liked her in highschool

Told her never to change

But he didn't say he was afraid she'd break his heart

A fool

Look at the all the relationships that she's torn apart

He was probably better off

Now she's older and realizes all the mistakes that she's made

Who'd want to try and love her

If she'll seek revenge if they made a mistake

It's not cool how she tries to think that it's never her

Funny too, now, how she tried to be perfect, her worth

Things aren't only the way she sees it

Maybe one day she'll be who she believes in

While those locked lips haven't let her all things

and Many things have remained the same

In every tension hse tries to put in effort

So slowly things have started to change
