Ghost with Accessories
People always say 'you know time flies by fast'
but I wish my home wasn't so far passed
I wish I could find where the key could be
or some reminders of what makes me, me
Instead I only know what color my home was;
and flowers on the porch were always a must
What's stopping me from seeing the truth?
Something so clearcut almost like my youth
Taken over by a false identity
simply an overthought entity
So superficial and insufficient, just fake memories
making me a ghost with accessories;
made of nothing but intangible things.

Your Poem's Voice
Personal memory loss mixed with abstract identity questions.
Multiple layered ideas: time, home, identity, falseness compressed densely.
Melancholic longing, loss, emptiness, fakeness dominate throughout.
Restless questioning tone but meditative pacing; moderate kinetic force.
Approximately 13 lines; falls in 7-15 range.
Metaphors (ghost, accessories), personification, simile (clearcut like youth).
Strongly internal lyric voice; first-person introspection throughout.
