The Ghost of Me
The life I lived was risky. The things I showed you were not all that good.
I should have showed you all the appropriate things that I could.
As my bad actions were being done, I forgot and didn’t care that you thought of me as number one.
We were both fooled thinking that I would always be around.
I was fooled thinking that I could blast the loudest music and no one would hear the sound.
Not being where I should be and definitely not being safe. Always thinking my way was the easiest and life would be a piece of cake.
Showing you the wrong lifestyle is what I did. Not truly realizing that you were just a kid.
I thought I was invincible so I taught you the same. But we were proven wrong the night my body was found without a name.
What happened and what went wrong people would say. All the police knew was that I had my last and final day.
What really happened, you don’t want to know and hear.
Let’s just say a group of men installed me with fear. My body was abused, broken, and beat.
Me, the invincible girl, was challenged with a problem that I could not defeat.
What more could I do? I had already left my mark in this world. Now who would continue the lifestyle?
Of course the one and only little girl.
The Ghost of Me could only sit and think the little girl wouldn’t do the same.
But why would she do differently when she was taught the rules of the game?
She did everything just as she was showed with no shame. The little girl thought she was invincible too.
The Ghost of Me could only hope history did not repeat.
But of course the little girl was faced with a challenge her body felt it was impossible to compete.
What happened this time to the young miss? The police didn’t even have one witness.
This dark secret took place behind closed doors and closed eyes. The killer was gotten once a week from a guy.
The little girls mind wanted the killer but her body did not.
The clueless little girl ended her life with a needle that held one deadly shot.
