Ghost Soldiers

The eerie whispers of boys past

The hallows shells the only things that last

Unmarked land for no one to visit

Family left incomplete, tell me is it?

No matter yesterday or tomorrow the same remains true

For themselves they sacrifice you

No help, no more a parade,

No thanks, just an experience that won’t fade

Is it worth it the price of war whatever the cause or reason

Is it worth leaving families and people shattered left believing

That what they did we appreciate it right,

Yet why do we abandon them in the darkest hours which are not always at night
