Ghosts

The world it drips with amber
but you sit so fragile there
We’ve got these ghosts between us
Who refuse to speak
I see everything in these new colors
Jarring and vivid
My eyes pick up on the shadows that pass
And the light that dances
And the colors that are born
from the sounds that create this world
