Ghosts


There was rain.. There were many nights of rain.

A few nights, were all that you had dreamt of.

 

Love was the thing and you can feel

as if someone was following you, but you know you're wrong...

 

It's just the ghost of who you want to be.

 

The ghost that you live on. The ghost of the future you are so frightened of. 

So you look to your guardian angel. 

 

So long ago you were innocent. It had nothing to do with age,

one day they were lover's, one day they were nothing but a dark memory; shadowing the essence of your beauty.

There was nothing else to say. But to fill the empty space of time.
