Ghosts of you/me

Forget who you are
And who you'll be
Take them out
Buried at sea
A surprising lack of sympathy
For what you were
And the ghosts you bore
For what you wore
And the ghosts you bore
Ghosts you bore

Take a breathe
And swallow sand
An eternal life
Leads to restless hands
The tangibles too close for you
You love ideas that you abuse
Love ideas that you abuse
And you choose to walk
With misuse
With misuse
