The Giants and the Englishmen

Once upon a time In a land much like ours There lived giant men Who dwarfed the tallest towers They lived in the clouds But they named it the ground They then learned of a land below Back when the clouds were low They digged it up like hounds And that's when the englishmen were found Strange creatues like them but tiny With Miniature features The english men spoke in a very strange manner Yelling and screaming with no pause for banter The giants then asked, "what be the matter" They hid and they fled Some under their bed Others kept yelling "dead, dead, dead" The giants were puzzeled by this behavior And were honestly offended by their new neighbor And while some were in the position of fetus Others hollered "please don't eat us" The idea had never crossed their mind What rude creatures they have happened to find They decided to never see them again So they calmed down, counted to ten And made up a poem right there and then "FEE FI FO FEM we smell the bood of english men Let this be a warning to all who hear, we giants are to be feared FEE FI FO FOU dare not tresspass the clouds Or we will eat you quicker than sound" And with that the giants, upset, Gathered their things and quickly left They lifted the clouds 500 stories high So that they would never meet another human eye The giants lived in peace, the rhyme in mind In case a human they happened to find But never worried about human attack For whom down below would be so wack Or so they believed until thry heard of Jack
