A Gift
To compete and be the best is what people fight for.
To teach is what I yearn for.
To make a difference is the goal of my life.
To inspire others I believe is my light.
A tool to keep the darkness away,
I use poetry to direct the evil astray.
The sole purpose is not to gain popularity,
The sole purpose is to show prosperity.
A gift that we must take,
A gift that I hope to give.
To touch others lives,
To show that they can live.
