A Gift
Standing in front of us,
with greying, sholder length hair
she shares her knowledge
she gives us all that she can give.
Through Shakespeare
Millay, Hemingway, Tolstoy...
through plant based metaphors
To the hypocracy of the American Dream
Every line housing a miraculous discovery
a new perspective of the world
syntax perfectly forging understanding.
