The Gift of Family
In life I feel as if we're blessed,
Blessed from birth,
That we all belong to something bigger than ourselves.
We belong to a family.
We are put onto this Earth,
With an automatic support system,
An encouragement system,
And unconditional love from someone.
To be blessed into my family,
Is a gift from God.
A gift I am eternally grateful for.
A gift I could not live without.
My Dad,
The first man whom I loved,
Who taught me to support myself,
And gave everything to give me a better life.
My Mom,
The woman who constantly gives to me,
Who taught me to be kind to all,
And the one I can tell everything too.
My Sister,
My automatic first friend,
Who makes me laugh uncontrollably,
And is someone I can always trust.
You see from this,
I could never live without my family.
For they are the greatest gift,
The gift of family.
