Gifted Words

Words are awesome.

What would we do without our words?

How would we speak?

What would we write?

Could we think?

I am made of my words,

An individual powered by her thoughts,

fueled by the power of her pen,

and commanded by the freedom of speech.

I have the potential to change myself,

And influence others.

Words are a gift,

But are also a consequence.

If I am composed of what I say,

How I think,

And what I express to a piece of paper,

Then am I my words?

Do my words define me?

Without words,

Would there be an awesome?

No.

Words are awesome.
