The Gifts of Poetry

Who can I run to when I don't want to spill my thoughts to everyone else

Sometimes I have things on my mind and she's the only one to listen

When no one else pays attention, she's there... Poetry

The waves in the river

The calmness to my storm

I look to you to guide me through my hard times

Poetry has been through thick and thin with me but never left

Through heartaches and friend loss I know poetry will never leave me

My uninspired times I become inspired by POETRY
