"Giggles, Sweet Giggles"
Giggles, sweet giggles I cannot stop you.
Giggles from some unknown source within me,
Which burst from my mouth always at bad times,
Whether in the wrong place or company.
I must silence the giggles I let out.
Bad as a long and wet belch will be,
Especially at the dinner table.
Rude as a chewing mouth left wide open,
Where all the food can be seen.
So rude, so bad, the giggles I let out.
Oh, loud and sharp as a crack of a whip,
A sound that penetrates an awkward hush,
and startle those who happen to be near
While making the situation worse off.
So loud, so sharp, the giggles I let out.
Embarrassing as a flatus in class,
And worse as when someone knows it was yours
And then points it out for all; Shame on me.
Much shame on me; so I hide my red face.
Oh horrid noise, the giggles I let out.
