Gilded People

Gilded people

so pretty,

so perfect,

all on the outside.

They are oh so lovely

every inch is perfection

there could never be anything

wrong.

Gilded people

rotting, decaying

darkness seeping from

inside

so broken,so sad

seems as though

nothing is

right.

Gilded people,

what a beautiful

lie.
