That Girl

That Girl

I’m the girl with the sunny side smile

The girl with the head thrown back laughing.

I’m the girl with the fake identity

The girl with the plastered on grin.

I’m the girl with face up to the sun

The girl found with her nose in a book.

I'm the girl hiding in a corner

The girl lurking in the shadows.

I'm the girl with the wild imagination

The girl playing games with her friends.

I'm the girl alone inside

The girl with the tear streaked face.

I'm the girl that loves her family more than life.

The girl with her grandmother's eyes.

I'm the girl with the heart of stone

The girl who can't let the world see her cry.

I'm the girl fighting within

The devil on the left,

The angel on the right.
