There once was a girl who lived under the shadows
She thought no one cared for her mind
Her life could not be complete by mere meadows
During happy and graceful events she lagged behind

She could see right through her classmate’s masks
And didn’t care much for flowers
She lived for unhappy tasks
Because she felt they gave her power

In other's minds this poem's an example
Of exactly what she had become
Her many achievements strewn on the mantle
But this was her greatest one

She hopes this poem has captured her strife
For tomorrow she plans to end her life
