A Girl and Her Flag

She wakes up

It is pitch black

Most people would go back to sleep

But she goes to her car and drives to the school

She does her makeup

And grabs her backpack

Most of the team is dreading being up so early

But she is excited and goes to the bus

She sits there waiting with excitement

Wondering what the day will bring

Most people are not excited as she is

But she gets to spend the day performing with her flag
