The girl with the ball

There once was a girl who loved volleyball

She could jump, she could set, she could hit that ball

But she just wasnt that tall

Then the girl who loved volleyball grew older and older

But she still wasnt that tall, then came the next fall

The girl who loved volleyball realized she would never be able to play college ball

So she put away her knee pads for a job at the mall

This change was a tough choice to be made

But the girl with the ball

Actually liked her job at the mall

Especially once she started to get paid

She was able to save for a car

She was able to save for a college afar

She learned how hard of a worker she could be

She learned that nothing in life is free

Everything comes with a price

And with having money came freedom which was nice

Her job at the mall

Had cost her the ball

But it was a choice that about, she never thought twice

She found growing up can be hard

Responsibilities start to bombard

But it also can be fun

The fun has just begun
