To the Girl With the Dark Face.

They tell you that your face is to dark

That you are not pretty enough

That team light skin is the trend

You look at yourself, and ask why

You start to self hate

You think that foundation, mascara, and eyeliner will make you worthy enough

But little do you know that the girl with the dark face has been uniquely made

To the girl with the dark face

Wash away yourself hate

And love your dark face

Bright colors make you stand out

Your face shines in the summer and glows in the winter

To the girl with the dark face

Society tells you dark face girls are losing

Your told that your ugly

No matter how hard you try

You must take control

No one can figure out your worth but you

To the girl with the dark face

You want to be loved unconditionally

What is it that your lacking

Why does eveyone hate the girl with a dark face

To the girl with the dark face

You are awesome

Self-confidence is your answer

I am you, and You are me

I'm telling your beautiful

To the girl with the dark face

Love yourself

Extra melanin, makes your dark face rich

To the girl with the dark face
