Girl Desaturated

Her voice was so hoarse- her

hair grew upon my chin.

Girl power,

ever present dictations-

crickets. Common coronations, stones in her

throat: consorted bodily freedom.

Emotions, so,

9/11 and retail therapy.

Social emergency: yoga

sleeping positions found mid slumber.

My life is her

personal; her

exhales I catch.

Breastmilk poverty,

ethics, survival and jewelry.

Commodify her

being and half her

offspring .Everyday revolutionaries

who declare themselves a private collection.

Rhinestoned empathy,

synchronization and sacrifice (her).
