GIRL, GET UP.

Girl, get up,

Don’t let it win.

That thing that is making you doubt yourself, keep it in a shelf.

You are blinded by all the negativity, it has become your daily activity.

You’re drowning in them.

Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it will not make you leak.

Girl, get up.

Listen up, you’re stronger than this.

Whatever you’re going through, it is just a bliss, I promise you, it will blow over like a kiss.

Don’t let it defeat you.

Stand up on your feet, and feel the heat.

It will burn, but it will just be for a minute.

Don’t be scared to walk Down the street.

They might point at you, stare, and laugh at you, but don’t let them break you.

Girl, I said, get up!

Don’t ever give up.

Don’t you dare give up.

Today might be worse, but it’s not a curse.

Nothing lasts forever, it’s just a fever.

The pain will disappear, and those feelings will clear.

Don’t do something stupid, you will only allow them to win once you put everything in a bin.

Go ahead and take a spin, and point your chin forward.

Take my word, don’t ever go backwards.

The road might be bumpy ahead, but you shouldn’t let them get in your head.

Girl, get up.

Don’t just lay in your bed.

I read about you, you’ll end up with the cure.
