Girl In a Green Dress

How many times must I say what everyone else is thinking. This girl is driving me crazy and I cant avoid this sinking. creeping doubt deep in my head as I catch sight of that horrible view in front of me that's quite a fright. Green and sequins are two things that should never be together Neither should we I lamented later, just like water and leather. Girl in a green dress I thought you were the one Until you opened up your heart to him and shot me with a gun I never wanted this to end but like all things sooner than later they must stop likes engines without tuner. I dream of the day where I will find that girl who I can say Will take my breath and keep me wanting her everyday. Girl in a green dress you had your chance to get my love everlasting But now Im gone, without a trace, in the night Ill be blasting. With every kiss and every touch I gave you all I had Im here to free myself from the hold that keeps me sad. We've moved on in the past and will move on again. Just like the fire burns the forest and then begins to mend. Girl in a green dress the healing will soon start But for now I must end this with a broken heart.
