girl i used to know

there’s this girl i used to know.

her name flows blue inside of me-

she was so afraid to show,

who she once was in front of me-

now she is lost, the girl i knew,

changed herself in front of me.

i loved her, but now i am lost

without her, in front of me.

i hurt her, i didn’t try to.

who can love a girl like me?

not the mirror in front of me.

there’s this girl i used to love,

but i killed that girl inside of me.
