A Girl From Mars

I met this girl from the planet of Mars.
I had never met a Martian, but I swear this one left me in awe.
I knew that from the first day I met her she would be something special
But after the first day I met her, she disappeared and lost all potential

I went from dropped jaw to forgetting what I foresaw.
Some time passed, and I sometimes heard about her.

Last I heard some oversized alien had her tied down.
So how do you get a girl from another planet.
I wasn’t sure, so I began to plan it.
How would I take a seed and begin to plant it?
A friend of mine got me her number.
Trust me collect calls to mars aren’t cheap
So I called her at a time when most people were sound asleep.
We planned out our first date.

We went cosmic bowling, literally.
Rolling balls down the milky way deliberately.
Gutter balls ended up in andromeda.
It was quite the phenomena.
She flew me home in her space ship.

Before she left I grabbed her by the hips.

and we hugged.

Ill admit I tried to slip in a quick kiss, but I missed and left her feeling dissed.
We went on 6 dates in the period of 3 weeks and 2 days.
On May 20th of 2012 there was a solar eclipse
And I had something good in my bag of tricks.
G-F question mark. is what the welders glass read.
She tilted her head and without hesitation said "yes".
I was going out with an extraterrestrial.
This wasn’t interracial, it was innerspacial.
Every day she grew on me, a little more and more.
This girl took my heart, and now had the ability to rip it apart.
It wasn’t easy to accept it, past wounds had just recently been mended.
But I've never been afraid to get hurt, I wear my heart on my sleeve.
The blood stains are still there for all to see.
Luckily shes as infatuated as me.

Some time has passed and we're better than ever.
If you asked me "do you guys fight often?"
and I said " hardly, almost never."
Well id be lying.
Im not implying  that our relationship is drying.

im just saying we're human.

Well at least one of us is.

Its funny how Curiosity just landed on Mars.
But Mars got curious and came to me.
Its funny how the world works.
Especially when you meet someone from outside of earth.
