Girl in the Mirror (Pt. 2)

Yes, the girl in the mirror is me,
Me as in I.
I always feel incomplete,
and I always want to cry.

I wish I didn’t exist,
But I don’t want to die.
I know I’d be missed,
So I try to stay alive.
But it’s like no matter what I do,
it’s never enough.

I still never have a clue,
How to even be tough.
I’m trying to stay strong,
I’m trying to hold on,
But I’m never happy for very long,
and I fear that one day I’ll wake up and
my happiness will just be gone.

I feel faded,
Like I’m drifting away.
When I look back to see how far I’ve made it,
it’s just been one. more. day.

I look back at the things I’ve done,
and wonder what was in my head.
I guess I thought it’d be fun,
Not make me feel dead.
