Girl In the shadows

No one remembers

the girl in the shadows

staring at her stomach

wanting it to disappear

no one remembers

the girl in the dark

covering the ripped skin

by the rim of her shirt

no one remembers

the girl on the night

her parents who wished she was here

digging her grave

to be free
