a girl with shining eyes

a girl with shining eyes

a new generation full of hopes and dreams

a girl with shining eyes

lives to tell a tale

path that she was able to follow her own trail

through the countryside in el pueblo

a girl with shining eyes

she was a miracle child

one who thought she would never live

she was born in the foot of the mountain

a place call el yunque, home of the taino gods
