Girl, there is nothing but a dark road
There really is no excuse
Just look at how you are being treated
Why do you take his abuse?
You are just flooded with worry
And sadly, carrying a lot if pain
Your lasting joys
Have turned into rain

This is my description of myself and my poetry. My name is Brooklyn Six aka The Brooklyn Six Project. I was born on Monday, August 26th 1974 in New York City. I graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in June 1992. I served in the United States Navy for nine years. While in the Navy I have lived in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland Or, and Seattle. I currently live in Lynnwood, Washington about twenty miles north of downtown Seattle. Poetry is my written medication whenever I feel stressed about something. All of my poems are about life, love, happiness, sadness, triumph, and tragedy. Hopefully, i will be able to captivate others with my poetry. Take care everyone.
