The girl who was not seen
There was a girl,
she was just a preteen.
She was never noticed, she was never seen,
She found a spark,
that she had never known.
A desire, a need, a thing that can be owned.
It was a book and it showed her the world that she will love,
as she read it, it gave her wings like a dove.
This is no joke for this came true,
when she read, never was she blue.
She gained a thing she had never had before,
she gained confidence and spirit and more.
She was noticed, she was seen, and was never bored,
and ever since then she gained two friends and soared.
There is a girl and shes just seventeen,
she's learned how to be noticed and be seen.
She laughs and jokes and talks with her friends,
there is a lot of them for friendship never ends.
Now she is happy and is never unseen
all thanks to the first book she read at age thirteen.
