To the Girl Who Was Once Mine


I'm sorry I couldn't keep us alive. I'm sorry I couldn't hold you tight. I'm sorry for not being able to sufficiently provide. I'm sorry that for our safety we had to hide. I'm sorry that this relationship began to feel like a chore. I'm sorry that we're no more. I'm sorry that everyone thinks we're together because of an excess in lust. I'm sorry that we're still in love yet we're broken because the world isn't ready for us.
