A Girl Wondering her Own

The inspired but forgotten, Tough outer shell, But Inside; close to the feel of cotton, Overlooked by my own, So Step dad was cropped in, It may be why my mind wanders, Why I ask so many questions and Often ponder, I know there’s more to life Than the world we see, I hardly know myself But Far from the girl I’ll be, I am who you make me, Because everyone judges, The story gets exaggerated so much, I can’t budge it, Living paycheck to paycheck, I’ve grown fond to being happy on a budget, Optimistic about all, Life; I love it, So, When you say to tell you who I am, no questions, It all depends on ones perspective, Because I could pitch the perfect answers, and you could buy all the lies that I told you, The only way you’ll know me, is if I know you...
