Girls

The way that girls have no self esteem

degrading themselves constantly, like they're a piece of meat

not being able to look in the mirror without something they hate

thinking plastic surgery and diet pills are the only way

not taking pride in their god given looks

dang, why don't look like the girls in the magazines and books

all of these notions, they lead to trouble

they pile on, one thing after another

some girls can take it, while others girls can't

that's why relief for so many comes in Xanax

all of this pressure, all of this pain

Now, tell me. What did you gain?
