A Girls Sad Song

Our conversations lasted for hours Other thought it was non-sense, but not I In the backyard smelling the rare flowers Drinking a nice cup of hot lemon tea Asking me if you can be my main man Not thinking about anything but you Answered, like I busted out of a can Its been less than a month, can't continue Its been war without you in my life No one understands the meaning of love It feels like someone cut me with a knife Be free and fly like a beautiful dove If it were up to me, you would be mine Together or not we will always shine

I made this sonnet in my English IV class. We were discussing William Shakespeare and his sonnets that he wrote.
