the girls who dance with the sun
you know those girls who dance on the sun?
stong blinding rays-but you dont want to run.
they turn sand to glass like smooth glittery ash.
and you know no one askes what shes doing in the sky,
she looks like she belongs on a thrown way up high.
you cant get her sound out her of your ears,
applauding claps and joyfull tears.
she sings with the clouds never alone,
no one cares if she chirps the wrong tone.
mabey one day i can be one of those girls who look at the world,
and never think "am i enough too"
one day i will join the girls who dance on the sun,
and not feel so overwhelmed and out-done.
