Give Up

Broken promises are promised to me,

I have no hope for gold at the end of a rainbow.

I have no hope for christmas presents under the tree.

Growing up there was no real happy home,

but life was always happy for me.

Broken promises are those that are promised to me,

I have no fear to be let down anymore,

I kept your word to me,

head held high, no more sad faces to the floor.

Give up on your promises because those I never see.

my eyes have widen , I see far past your forgiving eyes,

So give up on your promises because those will always be forgiven lies.
