Give It A Try
Why do I exist – I don’t know, and yet I’m still here.
Was I meant to do more – or less – I don’t know but it certainly looks like I’ve made a mess.
As life goes on, it gets harder and harder, but still I do my best to do the “right thing”
As I am still learning, doing good, living the way I’m supposed to be,
It feels like today’s culture is rejecting me.
Will this all pay off? I don’t know, I hope so. I wish I had a sign.
But if I did, would I recognize it?
All I know is that if I make each day better,
Then my life has been worth something after all.
So I’ll give it a try.
