Give Love Another Try

Because i love you he said…

From what you see online as “goals”

But you never see how many tears she’s shed

And what happens through closed doors

Just smile to cover your insecurity about each other

To how embarrassed you are to waste your time on someone that doesn’t love you.

God forbid she tells how much he’s ruined her to her mother

To the time he laid his hand on her to her father

A relationship where she can trust and feel beautiful about herself is what she wants

Not to feel competition about these instagram model girls

A strong and beautiful thing we call a bond

Now, Don’t be attached  to the materialistic things like pearls

Love, it’s what makes you smile and makes you truly happy

Be yourself, so he can love you for who you are

Don’t be shy, “your body is perfect”, he says.

Continue being the girl you’ve been known to be, classy

Well it’s time, have no fear

It’s time to give love a try again.
