Give Love Not Hate

The world is not yet achieving peace.

Love not yet shown just hate.

Life taken too soon by those who hate, 

or those who misunderstood.

Death may be natural but not this way.

Nothing natural about how it comes

Discrimination needs to end,

but will it ever

There is so much to be done 

to fix this mess we made .

How many have to die

for this to be over?

Rodney King, Trayvon Martin, and many 

more beaten or killed.

How much can we take 

before we break? 

The love we shall share!

The love we shall give!

Stand up and speak up

for what is yours.

There is love to be

shown not hate. 

We are to give love not hate.
