Give me something to write about

i want to write about something important i'm so sick of unemployment Exhausted with political informants Worn out with anti-conformists God damning you about abortions All of this social media torture Crooked wars teeming with horror Strangers telling me what i should work towards Is this what you sent me to school for? i refuse to be another voice of misfortune i refuse to be a slave for another's fortune i refuse to only write in proportion i refuse to deal in corporate distortion i want to write about something with meaning Fuck rhyme and rhythm to see what i'm seeing Proper diction doesn't make you a genie i can syntax all night and you still won't believe me So whats there left to talk about? When jersey shore and your girlfriend whore is cut out? When that heartbreak you had has lost clout? When parents see through maternal doubt? Give me something new to think on Let's accept the fact that we're all wrong Let's move on from high horses that have been gone And restrengthen the voice that keeps us all strong i'm presenting a problem to public poets We can see the solution but we don't know it The power of the pencil has no motives So stand up, sharpen that blade, and fucking own it i want to write about something important Beyond the facade of pious portraits i want to write about something with meaning Something deeper than skin so you can see me Give me something.
