Give Thanks

The Savior is our defender,

He is the one who gives

Shelter to the homeless,

Love to the wounded,

Peace to the brokenhearted,

Food to the starving,

Warmth to the freezing,

Happiness to the depressed,

And everything you can imagine;

And He loves us

No matter what;

So give thanks

Because God gave us everything.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
